I sat above them all and watched for days
I felt as though my own kind were all that mattered and kept me sane
I gathered them to me
Watched their hunted pass away as if direction had finally come
A resurrection for all our selves.
She paused, as the memory of her own land passed through her mind. The wars she’s been through as a powerful samurai, as a leader, as a shogun, as a master. She paused, after all these years. The ground was nothing to her, her mind consumed herself, as she stopped in front of her old village. Staring into it, then taking a slow step within it, then she paused, the smiling children playing, being ninjas. Her eyes widened, and her hands distinctly went to her hips, where two hilts rested, she paused so many memories.
I have never felt so proud
As I do now
Like the Sun is placed behind me
Feelings that matter never end
She paused, as her once village that was healthy of samurai, seemed to be struck by this illness. The ninja’s. Her eyes narrowed, her black demon like eyes, the woman was beautiful, blood red hair, but she resembled a demon, horns protruding out of her skull, she had markings running up and down the left side of her bodice, and her eyes were pitch black, as if staring into a dark hole. There was a cry in terror, then the sound of a woman screaming “Demon!” Turning her head, one of her blades going distinctly guarding her head, as a clash was heard. A small throwing knife falling to the ground.
“I come here in-” she jumped over kunai thrown at her feet. She paused, ninja’s so rude. She paused and pulled out her other blade, she’d kill them all if they attacked. Another was thrown, her blade blocking it. This was what happened to her samurai brethren? Turned into pathetic, fearful hiding warriors, no they were just shadows of warriors. She felt the pain of some of them, and felt her power grow.
