The Land of Rain was the place that sounded exactly what it's name was...well, to Shiori of the Hidden Mist village. Here in the Land of Rain, the rainfalls were continuous with wet, grassy flat lands where the rivers became wider than they usually were, and the ponds and lakes grew twice in size uncontrollably. For some reason, the Land of Rain reminded Shiori of her home, only because rain and mist were some what related since they had water in common.
Shiori had nothing to cover herself from the heavy rain fall. She only had her cap, and her simple boyish looking clothing. But that never stopped her from entering the village, taking small baby steps inside; it seemed fairly empty, not that many people around. She saw a few people running to another house, so they would be sheltered from this rain. But in Shiori's head.... they could have been running from a ghost. She heard their voices, yelling and shouting and screaming for help, something she did, but no one helped her. Not a single soul stepped to the side to save a young girl, huddling on the cold, hard ground while two or three shinobis left punches and kicks upon her fragile body.
Hopefully, people in this village were nicer than the ones in her birth village. Shiori had visited other villages: some were fairly nice, others just needed to open up to someone from the Hidden Mist village, especially if that person was paralyzed from childhood traumas. Shiori took a couple more steps, and ended up in the middle of the unknown village she had stopped in. She couldn't see it, but there were a few village inhabitants peeking through cracks in their doors and windows, and even the cracks in the wooden houses. "Anyone...?"
No one answered her... "Hello? Is anyone here? Anybody?"
Her voice echoed, making it's way towards the sky, where it will fade away. "Please...someone has to be here...", Her voice lowered, feeling disappointed that none of these villagers came out to greet her at least. She needed a place to stay dry, so she had to find a tree with all of it's leaves still attached.
Sadly, she could not find any. So her only option was to use one of the houses. Shiori ran behind the nearest one, and looked up; the roof's edge hung over the house top, so she could use this to keep herself dry. "This should do it...", She sighed as she sat down on the barely wet-ground. Then, she brought her knees to her face, wrapped her arms around them, and hoped that no one would find her here.
