face: (Don't have one since mah scanner doesn't work.)
appearance: Akaharu is small. Really small. It's quite obvious that she is underweight, painfully so, and one can tell at a single glance. Her raven-colored hair is short, although very messy, fanning out in small tufts around her head. Her eyes are a striking violet hue, although when she grows serious, they can seem to fade out to onyx, and become steely.
As for attire, Akaharu wears what seems to be a hakama, pitch black and falling to the tops of her feet. She also wears the sleeveless top of a kimono, revealing her thin arms. One her left wrist, she wears a bracelet made from small, perfectly round wooden beads.

likes:
Akaharu likes very few things, seeing as she is a little shut off from the world. What she does like, is mochi. She refers to it as, "Heaven in a little frozen ball." Another thing she likes is rain. When asked about that, she typically just laughs to herself and continues to go on about whatever was happening before. Finally, she loves stary nights.
dislikes:
Akaharu hates fighting with all her heart. She will not fight until it's painfully obvious that negotiation is not a possibility. She also hates narcisists, for obvious reasons. Lastly, she doesn't like the sun. Akaharu will refuse to explain this to anyone she meets, close or not.
personality:
She's a stubborn tomboy, Akaharu. She can't be bothered with fighting, she's a pacifist to the core, although, she does posess some ability. She's far too stubborn to use it, whether she knows she has to or not. She can be rather unpredictable. She can go from being happy one moment, to solemn the next. The only thing predictable about Akaharu, is her tendency to go against rules, suggestions, really, just any kind of order she's given, indirectly or directly. She's good at starting up arguments, but she'll never admit when she's lost. Instead of admitting that she's lost in any kind of fight, she'll either change the subject, or say something to annoy her opponent. She's very socially awkward, and doesn't form bonds of trust with people easily.

"Right. Well, you've successfully stated the obvious: I'm out of my league. So what?" - Akaharu

equipment: Akaharu carries a very simple backpack around with her, the contents of the backpack being a tanto in a leater sheath (see below), a canteen, and a pocket-knife.
Tsume - Tsume is a small tanto that Akaharu carries around. She calls it Tsume for the reason that on the blunt edge of the blade, the kanji for 'claw' is engraved on the side. The hilt is a crimson red, and Akaharu, strange as she is, decided it was good luck. It is kept in a brown leather sheath.
kekkai genkai: koumajutsu koutetsu (Demon Steel)
jutsu:
Shirohana - Shirohana is a taijutsu technique, involving Akaharu focusing chakra to her knuckles, causing them to glow a seemingly white color. When she punches someone, the chakra is released and seems to disperse in a flower-like pattern. This is used to increase the strength of punches. (D ranked Jutsu)
Henge (Transformation Jutsu)
Taijutsu:
For some reason which will be explained in the history, Akaharu uses boxing as opposed to any other martial art. Not taekwondo, not karate, not kung fu but BOXING. Despite her small size, she can throw quite a punch.

History:
There is a lot about herself that Akaharu doesn't know, including being the daughter of Kairu Itami. That, and she doesn't know her own last name.
Akaharu was born on the water, during a rainstorm. It was the first and only time she had ever seen her parents, and not long after she was born, the ship had been thrown from its passage, and Akaharu was cast into the sea. It was nothing but a miracle that she didn't die before she managed to wash up on a beach in the fire country. She was soon brought to an orphanage, and lived there until she reached the age of five. Akaharu couldn't stand the rules and limitations she was under, and was constantly getting herself into trouble.
At the age of five, Akaharu had begun to sneak out of the orphanage, time and time again, constantly walking the beach. One day, she managed to find her tanto on the beach, and being able to read, she pocketed the weapon. After all, who was going to miss a dagger that had washed up on the beach? It wasn't long after that day that Akaharu left her village.
After a few weeks of wandering on her own, Akaharu knew she had made a dreadful mistake in leaving her village with naught but an empty canteen and a tanto in an old leather sheath, but was far too stubborn to turn back. As a result, she collapsed on the path. She was unconsious for two days before she woke up in an old man's house. The man's first name, Saito, was his only name, and Akaharu owed Saito a lot. After all, this was the man who taught her henge and how to box, not to mention save her life.
However, years of wandering alone and being a theif can make a person bitter. Akaharu is proof of this. After wandering for so many years, after stealing in order to live, Akaharu had taught herself that people like Saito were scarce in this world, and that she had to learn to fend for herself. Although it was with reluctance, Akaharu found herself scraping her old carefree ways, and steeled her will to learn more about herself. However, every attempt, every search, and hardly a thing has bore fruit. And yet, Akaharu's too stubborn to just quit.
